You may be wondering who the lady is at the top of this website.
Some of you may already know.
That lady was the undisputed queen of Black Country comedy back in the 1970s.
Dolly Allen.
I had the pleasure of seeing a Black Country night out when I was a child and I am pretty sure Dolly was on the bill that night, all those years ago, at Brierley Hill Civic Hall along with the great Tommy Mundon, Harry Harrison and Paul Raven.
Dolly passed away in 1990 but her comedy lives on on Youtube
